Debasish Das

Debasish is a Lecturer in Applied Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Strathclyde. He completed PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California San Diego in 2016, and subsequently held postdoctoral positions at the University of Cambridge. Before moving to UC San Diego, he studied at the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign, where he completed an MS in Mechanical Science and Engineering with specialisation in Computational Science and Engineering and also undertook doctoral study. He holds a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela.

Michael is a PhD student in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Strathclyde. He joined the group in 2021. His doctoral work is on electrohydrodynamic interactions of droplets in electric fields.

Lauren is a PhD student in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Strathclyde. She joined the group in 2022. Her doctoral work focuses on numerical methods for evaporating drops on inclined surfaces.
